Some right miserable cunts on here.

4th place, 7 more points needed to avoid relegation and everything ticking along nicely.

What's to moan about you twats?

If you have nothing nice to say then fuck off.

Well done Sam and the boys.

By the way I'm not a happy clapper I don't think we are playing as fluently since Carroll and Nolan came back, but it's a long season. My point was we are on the up and its a really special atmosphere at the moment - from an atmosphere point of view I suspect being on the up is the best - ie better than getting there and having to match heightened expectations.

Good luck trying to silence me with abuse. I will have my say. And you are very welcome to disagree.

Alex v the reason people are hostile towards you is the haven't got a fucking clue what you are on about . stop trying to be Einstein with a basic game of football and get back to x factor and i'm a celebrity stats

ludo

We were in 2nd gear and beat a lowly team.

We won't play like that against chelsea or arsenal, that's my guess.

Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread
I agree it is much easier to pick holes when watching from streams, as I did myself today.
Had I been there, I would have got lifted by the atmosphere from within the ground, whilst probably not noticing minor errors.

From the stream, there seemed to be a few wayward passes and a more cautious approach, but this was probably down to Leicester's style of play.

However, this is the best team I have seen in many years and looking at the table, I now think we should really be aiming for 3rd spot.

Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread
There are happy clappers around who just want to tub-thump. That's absolutely fine by me - go right ahead, and enjoy the good times.

I like to look at the team and try and work out what is working well, and what isn't working so well. It's what I find most interesting in sport.

Can't we both co-exist? Is it that frustrating that not everyone sees everything the same way as you?

Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread
I'm loving it as much as the next man but we won't beat Chelsea and Arsenal if we play like we did today.... nothing wrong with a bit of constructive criticism, or is that not allowed?

I'd call the police, pagey.

And nobody likes crumbs, don't pretend.

If Alex V found a naked Kelly Brook in his bed eating toast he'd moan about the fucking crumbs.

Ricky, I've been going for 44 years and I said to my boy when we scored the 2nd , this is the best team we've had, not the best individual players but the best team. As you say, those that are going are loving this season , it's only the whingy cunts on here that hunt out the negatives each week.

RM10 8:17 Sat Dec 20
Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread
its great that people on here can over analyse games but no one played bad or great. average team performance wining 2-0! or should that be whining on here.

Totally agree. Everyone that goes is loving the football this year. My lot were discussing that in our lives (30 years) we've not enjoyed a season like this one

Only the idiots on here who watch on streams that moan.

Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread
Needed that, with a couple of really tough games coming up.

I'll take beating anyone two nil in this league.

Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread
I don't suppose we will change a winning side but I agree that we aren't playing as well as a team now as we were when Sakho and Valencia were playing together (not as exciting to watch anyway!)

I didn't see Nolan do much today and would like to see someone else in his place... Noble if fit for Chelsea match, we can't have Nolan as a passenger. Also agree that Tomkins was poor in first half, slightly better in second.

Great result though. COYI

Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread
Moving on a little, can I just say that the atmosphere in the Trevor Brooking lower (and presumably elsewhere) is reminiscent of 1985/6 in the then North Bank, when we won I think 14 of our last 15 home games, at one point playing three in five days. We had good strikers that year too. Don't know how it'll turn out but I hope you're all enjoying it - more fun than at almost any ground in the country right now I should imagine.

Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread
You're a pedantic idiot who has no argument and so is resorting to any desperate measure not to justify your ridiculous claims.

You need a new interest, you really don't understand football.

Ricky 7:59 Sat Dec 20

If you read the thread you'll see that's exactly what I've been trying to discuss.

You still don't have the wording quite right BTW. On your 4th attempt. And I never said we weren't getting results or looking strong or doing well in the table - you're arguing against nobody.

Driz 8:01 Sat Dec 20
Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread
Just heading back. It wasn't a great game but it was an important one to pick up the points and keep momentum going. Tomkin's and Nolan surely have to be dropped for the next game. Tommo was proper lucky not to be found out a couple of times and whilst Nolan is not scoring, his contribution was very limited.

That being said we were never in trouble and we march on. Irons.

Ricky 7:59 Sat Dec 20
Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread
That is exactly the phrase you used!

You have stated our underlying form is slipping and challenged me to make counter arguments. I've given you about 15 so far.

Is it maybe you were trying to be edgy and controversial, but faced with hard facts can't make any sort of case to support your nonsense?

Dolittle 7:57 Sat Dec 20
Re: West Ham v Leicester - Official Match Thread
Was absolutely gutted when Man Utd equalised. Can't quite get the hang of checking for the results from the top of the table and not the bottom.
